I was walking along a path through a wooded area when suddenly I caught movement-a BIG bird flew off! I took a few steps to the clearing and froze as I scanned for the bird, all was still. Suddenly I spot a hawk in a tree. I was so excited!! I immediately brought the camera to my eye to shoot pictures before he took off. After a few shots he was still there so I lowered the camera to set the proper settings (as quickly as I could-my heart was pounding!) I look up, he had just flown off! :-( I did get some sky shots, but not as clear as I would have hoped. There is always another day! |
