English: Principle of a railway headshunt on a terminus with platforms for tramways or railcars:
  1. red train arrives to the station
  2. red train gets off passengers on platform A
  3. red train moves to the headshunt, empty
  4. red train goes to passing loop the passing loop to platform B. Blue train arrives on platform A
  5. Red train get passengers in; Blue train passengers gets off
  6. Red train is still loading, waiting for the track to be cleared by Yellow train, arriving to platform A; Blue train moves to the headshunt, empty
  7. Red train is clear to go; Blue train waits for platform B to be cleared; Yellow train unloads on platform A.
This principle allow more passenger to get in and get off while the two operations are separated.
