Description

On the Chase Line, on the train from Rugeley Trent Valley to Birmingham New Street.

The Chase Line is getting electrified in the summer of 2017. Works from Tame Bridge Parkway - Walsall - Rugeley Trent Valley.

Hednesford Station is between Cannock and Rugeley Town.


For some reason all Chase Line stations until this one have Network West Midlands signs (despite being in Staffordshire)

sign and sculpture seen from the train.

Was similar sculptures at Rugeley Town and Cannock Station's. Probably to commemorate the lost mining industry of the area.
