Description
Nederlands: Informatiebord bij het Huldtoneel in Heemskerk. Het opschrift door PWN luidt: "Het Huldtoneel of de Scepelingeberch te Heemskerk Deze opgeworpen heuvel is een van de alleroudste historische plekken van Kennemerland. In de Romeinse tijd diende deze plek als offerplaats. Het plateau rond de heuvel was oorspronkelijk veel groter. In de 14e en 15e eeuw werden hier de Graven van Holland als Heer van Kennemerland gehuldigd. In die tijd werd er ook recht gesproken door de Schepenen van Heemskerk"
