For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Heinz Erbstößer, Peter Wallach Zentralbild Wendorf 30.9.62 XIII. Deutsche Leichtathletikmeisterschaften in Dresden Vom 28.9.-30.9.1962 finden im Dresdener Heinz-Steyer-Stadion die XIII. Deutschen Leichtathletikmeisterschaften 1962 statt. Insgesamt werden 32 Titel vergeben, um die sich 650 Männer und Frauen bewerben. UBz: Der 100-m-Endlauf der Männer gewann Heinz Erbstößer (SC Rotation Leipzig) mit 10,6 Sekunden sicher. Ganz links Peter Wallach (Startnr. 357) und Falgowski Start) .
