Students were protesting the disparity in funding for the Broadway campus, located closest to the Central District, compared to the other the other community college campuses. Page 6 articles discuss march for Native American fishing rights and efforts to save Lake Union. Pages 13-14 cover demonstrations at People's Park in Berkley and discusses the death of James Rector. Page 21 article covers concert in Volunteer Park.
