Description

Cover: Foliate' People's park poster, by Walt Crowley. Page 4 article discusses protests at Seattle Central Community College involving Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and the Black Student Union. Students were protesting the disparity in funding for the Broadway campus, located closest to the Central District, compared to the other the other community college campuses. Page 6 articles discuss march for Native American fishing rights and efforts to save Lake Union. Pages 13-14 cover demonstrations at People's Park in Berkley and discusses the death of James Rector. Page 21 article covers concert in Volunteer Park.
