Summary
editDescriptionHell's Lum - geograph.org.uk - 50865.jpg |
English: Hell's Lum. Landmark gully splitting a crag at the head of Loch Avon, on the south side of Stob Coire an t-Sneachda. A wet slimy place which freezes up to give a famous winter climbing route. The rest of Hell's Lum Crag is good climbing too. Foreground is a mix of slabs, boulders and limited vegetation between the burns that flow down to Loch Avon. The slabs at the head of the Feith Buidhe waterfalls can be seen. They are still pink as snow lies here for much of the year. |
