  • Die Kanadische Wasserpest (Elodea canadensis) wuchs 2004 und bereits in einigen Jahren zuvor großflächig im Hengsteysee, einem Stausee der Ruhr, und behinderte v.a. die Schifffahrt und den Wassersport. - Man beachte auch das ziemlich festsitzende Tretboot, die Ausflügler haben über eine halbe Stunde gebraucht, um da wieder herauszukommen. ;-)
