Description
English: Henllys vale kilns At Henllys Vale a bank of four massive lime-kilns dating back to 19th century.

A tramway led northwards up to Cefn Carn Fadog from where the limestone was quarried. Henllys Vale Colliery opened in 1898, the chimney of which still remains. In 1904, 104 men were employed here, but the company rapidly declined, in 1906 it was offered at auction and restarted as the New Anthracite Company Ltd but closed during the First World War due to a lack of manpower.

A tramroad was used to supply limestone from quarries from the top of Cefn Carn Fadog same 2.16NM away.
