Sie wurde 1682 zu Amsterdam geboren, und von ihrem Vater Theodor van Pee in den Anfangsgründen unterrichtet. Sie kopierte unter Anleitung des Malers Ch. Lebion mehrere Portraits von A. van Dyck, und anderen grossen Meistern. Ganz kleine Bildnisse wurden in Armbänder eingesetzt, und mit 60 — 400 st. bezahlt. Peter der Grosse von Russland, und der König Friedrich Wilhelm von Preussen wollten sie zur Hofmalerin haben, sie schlug aber selbst die Besoldung von 6000 fl. aus, welche ihr der Zar aussetzen wollte.
