English: St. Petroc's Church Medieval Stained Glass Windows: vestry of St. Petroc's Church, Petrockstowe, Devon, England, image corrected to show glass in proper orientation as glass had been replaced reversed during a restoration at some unknown time (very common with stained glass windows). The ancient glass was moved to the vestry in 1878. View (corrected) from inside the vestry of the church. Top left: Bonville impaling Grenville; top right: Grenville impaling Azure, a chevron between three (unknown objects) argent (family unknown, not Gorges), with two roundels inscribed "IHS" below. |
