Dansk: ’Hvalfisken’ er en snaubrig, bygget i Slagelse 1988. Modellen er udført af maler Ove Andersen, Slagelse. Modellen er ophængt i Herlev Kirke 1988-05-29.
Kølen til ’Hvalfisken’ blev strakt på et værft i Kalmar i 1801. Den 7.marts 1949, stoppede en dynamitladning ’Hvalfisken’s liv, et liv der havde været fuld af oplevelser. I 97 år sejlede ’Hvalfisken’ på Grønland; undslap nogle engelske orlogsskibes forsøg på kapring, Redede 64 engelske søfolk, hvis skib var skruet ned af isen; redede en 7 mands besætning fra en forlist engelsk skonnert og sejlede besætningen fra et andet forlist skib til København. Fra 1899 var det slut med det vilde liv. Snaubriggen blev skoleskib, klubskib i en sejlklub, stationært skoleskib for eleverne på Svendborg Søfartsskole og til sidst cementblandeskib ved bygningen af to broer.
