Tegningen dannede forlæg for en gennemarbejdet tegning, der nu befinder sig i Atlas Blaeu-Van der Hem, Österreichische Nationalbibliothek, Kartensammlung Globenmuseum, 05:17 [17], fo 37 (pen og lavering, 165 x 245mm). Relationen mellem de to tegninger er angivet på Wien-tegningen: "Montauban, getekent den 20den 8ber 41 [svarende til dateringen på KKSgb7830] en soo opgemacht den 8 augustii 1646". Se: Demont og Favreau: "Herman van der Hem", Camiac-et Saint-Denis 2006 kat. 125. På den gennemarbejdede version af motivet, som har en påskrift på recto, der henviser til KKSgb7830, er på verso anført: "op 3 lulio 1648 door Herman Hem aan my Y. Hem, zyn vader Verert" ["Den 3. juli 1648 foræret af Herman van der Hem til mig Ysbrandt Hem, hans far"].
