| Description |
English: A view from the former Tampella industrial area in central Tampere, Finland. Partially seen in the photo is a hill known as Herrainmäki. The old building in the middle of the photo is Villa Sandsund, obviously designed by architect Birger Federley and built in 1912.
Suomi: Näkymä Tampellan entiseltä teollisuusalueelta Tampereen keskustassa. Kuvassa näkyy osa tehtaan johtajien ja insinöörien aikoinaan asuttamaa Herrainmäkeä. Kuvan keskellä oleva rakennus on Villa Sandsund, ilmeisesti vuonna 1912 rakennettu ja Birger Federleyn suunnittelema huvila. Huomaa myös kallioseinämään hieman talon vasemmalle puolelle kiinnitetty tamperelaisen puolustusvälineteollisuuden muistomerkki (teräslevy, johon kiinnitetty 105 mm:n kenttähaupitsin halkaistu putki), paljastettu 2007. |
