Deutsch: Herrnhuter Advents- und Weihnachtsstern
Hersteller: Herrnhuter Sterne GmbH Herrnhut, 2006 Herrnhuter Sterne werden in mehreren Größen angeboten. Schon um 1920 gaben den 190 cm großen Krichenstern. Damals waren Herrnhuter Sterne bereits in Südafrika, Surname, Nicaragua, und Labrador in Gebrauch, sie wurden in die USA, nach Ägypten und in die Karibik geliefert. Die DDR ließ die Sterne fast ausschließlich für den Export in mehr als 20 Länder produzieren. Nach der Wende wurde aus dem Betrieb eine GmbH, die den Vertrieb übernahm und die Entwicklung neuer Produkte vorantrieb. Dank des Außensterns aus Kunststoff kann man Herrnhuter Sterne heute im weihnachtlichen Straßenbild vieler Städte, beispielsweise in Philadelphia, Moskau, London und Basel entdecken. |
