Deutsch: Naturschutzgebiet „Felsenberg-Berntal“: Der Herxheimer Felsenberg befindet sich am südlichen Rand des „Mainzer Beckens“ und gehört geologisch zur so genannten „Wiesbaden-Formation“. Er besteht hauptsächlch aus Kalkalgen-Riffgestein und ist aus Ablagerungen des Nordmeeres vor rund 20 Millionen Jahren am Rand des Oberrheingrabens entstanden.
