Grosses Stadtsiegel mit Stadtvedute und Herzog Rudolf IV. von Habsburg. 1361. Durchmesser 6 cm. Das Grosse Stadtsiegel war seit 1361 in Gebrauch. Die in Bronce gegossene Petschaft wurde in den Feinheiten nachgraviert und vergoldet. Das grosse Stadtsiegel darf als eines der schönsten Städtesiegel der Schweiz bezeichnet werden und dürfte von Herzog Rudolf in Wien persönlich in Auftrag gegeben worden sein. Stadtarchiv Rapperswil |
