Description
Français : Croix du cimetière de Heuland. On distingue des bosses sur le fût et des moulures sur l'extrémité des bras de la croix. La croix est dite à écots ou écotée car son fût symbolise l'arbre de vie en représentant un tronc dont les branches sont coupées presque à ras. Elle a pu être l'objet de prières spécifiques lors d'un épisode de peste car les protubérances des écots peuvent ressembler à des bubons. Elle a même pu être érigée après une épidémie comme celle de 1631 à Querville dans le Pays d'Auge.
