Notes | Blue silk ribbon marker. Blue silk lined endleaves. A small mirror is attached to upper pastedown. Mid century, Paris, attributed to Antoine Michel Padeloup le Jeune. Active between 1712 and 1758, he was the most well known of this family of binders (15 binders in 5 generations). King's binder in 1733, he was Louis XV and Madame de Pompadour official binder.
