Description
English: Inscription commemorating Pte WC Hewitt, 1 Bn the Rifle Brigade, who was killed in Flanders on 19 December 1914. It is near the base of a Commonwealth War Graves Commission headstone in the parish churchyard of St Nicholas, Kenilworth, Warwickshire for L/Cpl Frank Hewitt, Royal Warwickshire Regiment, who died on 15 August 1919, aged 21. WC Hewitt is also commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial to the Missing at Hainaut, Belgium.
