English: Reverse of a pre-1895 photographic postcard of the windmill at High Easter, Essex, England, taken by Fred Spalding (1830-1895). Fred Spalding was born in in Danbury to a shoemaker, and became a professional photographer at Tindal Street, Chelmsford in the mid-19th century. He was listed as Chelmsford’s only photographer in 1862.
