| Description |
English: High Field The name of the field according to the 1843 tithe map and part of Hooe Level. As the name suggests the field is on a small rise which originally would have been a small eyot in the midst of the marshes. The white board to the left is a sign stating 'private land' to stop people using the field as a shortcut between two footpaths, the other lying just over the crest of the rise. |
