English: Hill fort, White Meldon summit At approximately 200m x 300m this is the largest native hill fort in the area, and its size doesn't make it easy to photograph in situ. It had four concentric lines of defence within which traces of 29 houses have been found. The photograph shows part of one rampart on the NE side of the summit.
