Description
English: The old building of Hirbaug Town Hall was initially a mansion built by Nanasaheb Peshwa in the 18th-century. It was later purchased in 1854 by M. G. Ranade, S.H. Damle and Krushnashastri Chiplunkar. The building has witnessed several important events during the independence movement. Now, it houses the membership based Deccan Club with a new building nearby equipped with sporting facilities and an auditorium.
