  • Prentenboek, afgeleid van het 18e-eeuwse Engelse bakerrijm 'The house that Jack built', waarin steeds een dier of persoon wordt toegevoegd aan het verhaal, dat begint met een rat, dan volgen de kat, de hond, de koe, de dochter van Hillegond, de haan, de vos, Filip met den hoorn, het paard en de stal. Bevat 12 bladen met handgekleurde gravures met een steeds uitgebreidere rijmende tekst er onder.
