Description
English: Photo taken 2021 of exhibits in Hjemmefrontmuseet Rakkestad, a community-based museum in Rakkestad, Norway. The museum showcases around 3000 artifacts related to Nazi Germany's occupation of Norway and the Norwegian resistance movement during World War II from 1940 to 1945, and the corresponding historical era:
  • Display mannequin dressed as a typical Norwegian "border crosser" or resistance fighter wearing period-appropriate leisure or outdoor attire from the 1940s, with a flat cap, doublebreasted jacket, breeches, knitted stockings, and sturdy ankle boots in leather, equipped with a map, backpack, and a British Stengun submachine gun.

Norsk bokmål: Foto tatt sommeren 2021 i Hjemmefrontmuseet Rakkestad, et lokalt, krigshistorisk museum i Rakkestad i Østfold. Utstillingene omfatter rundt 3500 gjenstander fra Norge under andre verdenskrig, Nazi-Tysklands okkupasjon av landet, hjemmefronten og motstandskampen i perioden 1940–45 og fra tida like etter krigen:
  • Utstillingsdokke utkledt som grenselos og milorgmann (bevæpnet motstandsmann som en av «gutta på skauen»), iført tidsriktig fritids- eller friluftsantrekk fra 1940-åra, med «sixpence», sid vindjakke, nikkers (knebukser), mønstrede strikkesokker/strømper og robuste ankelstøvler (kraftige sko med snøring) og utstyrt med kart, ryggsekk og britisk Stengun maskinpistol.   • Del av plansje med oversikt over «Falne fra Østfold under felttoget 1940»
  • «Krigstidsfrise» av illustratøren, reklametegneren og modellbyggeren Kjell Dyrhaug (død 1981). Frisen ble opprinnelig malt til spisesalen i flyktningleiren på Kjesäter herregård i Sverige, utført av Dyrhaug i 1943 under hans eget opphold der. Veggmaleriene omfatter rundt 20 motiver som skildrer opplevelser av blant annet illegalt arbeid, razzia og flukt over gransa.
