English: The town Hlinsko, northeast from the center of, view from the locality "K Pláňavům" (620 m) on the northwest slope of "Pešava" (697 m). The valley with trees and of brook "Blatenský", above the brook of garden colony with garden huts. The locality lies in the Protected Landscape Area Žďárské vrchy, outside the photo to the right of the trees the European significant site and the natural monument "Ratajské" ponds. From the city center the tourist route of the Club of Czech Tourists brought to locality "Ratajské" ponds, is marked in yellow, also urban route with name Fairytale Trail (the yellow route continues along the Blatenský brook in the direction of the village Dědová). On the left side of the photo: the chimney (116 m) of the heating plant burning biomass and industrial zone objects (the firms ETA, MEGATECH). On the horizon the ridge of the Iron Mountains, on the left with the hamlet Srní, a part of the town of Hlinsko. To the summit of the Iron Mountains ridge (653 m above sea level) leads from the town center in to the hamlet Srní around quarries a red tourist route with called Matulova Trail. Čeština: Město Hlinsko, severovýchodně od centra, pohled z lokality K Pláňavům (620 m) na severozápadním úbočí vrchu Pešava (697 m). Údolí se stromy a potokem "Blatenský", nad potokem zahradní kolonie s chatami. Lokalita leží v Chráněné krajinné oblasti Žďárské vrchy, mimo fotozáběr vpravo za stromy se nachází evropsky významná lokalita a přírodní památka Ratajské rybníky. Z centra města vedena do lokality Ratajské rybníky turistická trasa Klubu českých turistů, žlutě značená, také městská trasa s názvem Pohádková stezka (žlutá trasa pokračuje podél Blatenského potoka směrem k obci Dědová. Zcela vlevo na fotografii: komín (116 m) teplárny spalující biomasu a objekty průmyslové zóny (firmy ETA, MEGATECH). Na obzoru hřeben Železných hor, vlevo s vesnicí Srní, částí města Hlinsko. Na vrchol hřebene Železných hor (653 m n. m.) vede z centra města do vesnice Srní kolem kamenolomů červená turistická trasa s názvem Matulova stezka.
