Description
English: Portal (gate) of the New Cemetery on the Gothard Hill in Hořice, Jičín District, the Czech Republic – old information board.
Čeština: Hřbitovní portál (brána) Nového hřbitova na vrchu Gothard v Hořicích v okrese Jičín – stará plechová informační tabule na zdi vpravo (jižně) od brány.
Text: «Portál nového hřbitova byl postaven r. 1892–1905 žáky a učiteli hořické Sochařské školy. Autory návrhu byli arch. B. Moravec a arch. A. Cechner profesoři této školy. Centrální plastiku „Anděl míru“ navrhl Mořic Černil, postranní „Smrt“ a „Vzkříšení“ jsou od Quido Kociana. Stavba je 14,5 m vysoká.»
