Description
Deutsch: Hoher Brunnen bei Herberhausen, Stadt Göttingen, Niedersachsen. Ursprünglich Wasserversorgung des Anfang des 15. Jahrhunderts wüstgefallenen Ortes Omborn. Quellgebiet mit Teich (links) und historischer (rechts) sowie neuer gefasster Quelle (z.B. rechts der Bildmitte). Die alte Quellfassung wurde 1943 und nochmals 2003 wiederentdeckt, die tragenden Eichenteile im Untergrund wurden auf 1738 datiert, Scherbenfunde auf die Zeit um 1500. Wiederherstellung der Quelleinfassung und Ausbau erfolgte 2004. (Quelle: Informationstafel der Jagdgenossenschaft Göttingen - Herberhausen am Brunnen) Naturdenkmal-Recht gültig seit 3. Oktober 1936.
