| Description |
English: Holderness Farmland, south of Keyingham, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Standing on the eastern edge of the square at MR: TA25002064 looking westwards into square TA2420. This place is reached on a 'bridlepath' according to the map, but in reality is little more than the edge of the side of Ottringham Drain. This 'bridlepath' stops abruptly some 100m due south of here for no apparent reason. Why on earth there should be a bridlepath here in the 'middle of nowhere', I just don't know, but it served its purpose for the sake of the photograph! This is typical scenery for this part of Holderness - exceedingly flat and barely above sea level. |
