Description

Short video clip of the Mosaic in Holloway Circus.

The centre of Holloway Circus was Thomas Gardens.

This is the mural depicting the activities in Horse Fair from 1215 to around 1911.

It was unveiled by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham Alderman H. E. Tyler in 1966.

According to the plaque - it depicts the activities in the Horse Fair which took place in this area until 1911 and was the last remaining fair of the charter granted by Henry III in 1215.
