The owner's notice said: This car took 4.5 years to complete. The front running gear is from a Renault Gordini with a cross flow 1400cc engine and 5 speed box. All the body moulds were homemade together with the chassis and components like lights, instruments and steering wheel. The design is based on GP cars of the pre and just post war period with details from Alfa Romeo, Maserati, ERA and Mercedes-Benz. The total on the road cost was £5779. |
