English: Nowadays, the use of terracotta bricks is widespread in the Far North region of Cameroon. These bricks are used to build not only tradiotionnal huts but also beautiful modern houses. Residents and local populations find them even stronger than cement blocks and mud bricks. In the far-north region of Cameroon, houses built in terracotta prove to be a real shield and a means of resilience for populations faced yearly with floods and other natural disasters.
