Summary edit
DescriptionHooded Crow (Corvus cornix) - geograph.org.uk - 1346060.jpg |
English: Hooded Crow (Corvus cornix) The hoodie is the species of crow encountered in most of the highlands and islands. The familiar all-black crow of the lowlands does not occur. The two species do interbreed where their distribution overlaps but hybrids are less fit and tend to die, keeping the two species separate. This one was investigating the car park at Dùn Charlabhaigh for scraps of food dropped by visitors. |
