English: Hooe Level Looking down onto the marshes from the A259 near the appropriately named Marsh View Farm. The fields beyond the hedgeline at the foot of the slope were inned during the medieval period by monks from Battle Abbey. The buildings of Normans Bay can be seen in the distance to the right of the picture and beyond that is the sea. |
