Description
English: Secretary of State for Defence Geoffrey Hoon (right), of the United Kingdom, meets with Secretary of Defence Donald H. Rumsfeld (left), of the United States of America, in the Pentagon on 30th of October 2001. Hoon and Rumsfeld are meeting to discuss the progress of the so-called "War against Terrorism" including the present military campaign against Taliban and al Qaeda forces in Afghanistan. Also participating in the talks was Ambassador Christopher Meyer (centre), the UK's ambassador to the U.S.
