Description
English: Overview of the Hopeton Earthworks, a set of earthworks built by Hopewellian peoples above the Scioto River north of Chillicothe in Springfield Township, Ross County, Ohio, United States. Although many of the earthworks have been destroyed by cultivation, the site has recently become part of the Hopewell Culture National Historical Park, and it has been designated a National Historic Landmark.
