DescriptionHora Sidérea.png	Español: HORA SIDÉREA. La HORA SIDÉREA u HORA DE LAS ESTRELLAS es la medida horaria que se observa en el meridiano del lugar. Esta hora sidérea va desde el Punto de Aries o Vernal (0 hs.) hasta el meridiano del lugar, es decir de Oeste a Este por el Ecuador Celeste y se mide en horas, minutos y segundos. Por ejemplo cuando el Punto Vernal pasa por el meridiano del lugar el valor de la hora sidérea es igual a 0 horas. Cuando pasa el Punto de Libra la hora sidérea es igual a 12 horas, opuesta a el Punto de Aries o Vernal. Una estrella, planeta, Sol, Luna u otro objeto celeste que pasa por el meridiano del lugar (culminación superior), su ascensión recta será la hora sidérea en ese instante. Aquí el Punto Vernal o de Aries se encuentra en el plano horizontal (puesta). La OBLICUIDAD DE LA ECLÍPTICA es el ángulo formado por la intersección de los planos Eclíptico y Ecuatorial, su valor no es constante, variando por centurias. Se toma en promedio 23° 27'. El eje de rotación terrestre forma un ángulo de 66° 33' con el plano eclíptico.
