Français : Chevaux et chariot dans une prairie près du lac Beaverdam, Lillooet, Colombie-Britannique
Description
English: Looking north of west across open meadow in the flat green timber plateau at the southeast end of Beaver Dam lake, about 8 miles west by north of the 59 Mile House on Caribou road from Lillooet, B.C. This shows wall of earth and boulders, probably an ice push, along the shore of lake. This is locally said to have been made by Indians and also by beavers; hence the name of lake. Dr. Leopold Reinecke at the right, G.S.C. outfit and an old stage team and stage in foreground. Marble Mountains in the distance.
