Español: Fuente del Hospital Noble, Málaga, España. Se compone de una taza circular de perfil cóncavo adornada por ménsulas en cuyo centro se eleva un cuerpo circular decorado por una línea de sogueado y otra de ovas, que sustenta tres tazas de tamaños decrecientes con bordes ondulados que recuerdan las ménsulas de la taza inferior y con vástagos decorados por palmetas y hojas. Como surtidor, coronando todo el conjunto, la pequeña figura de un amorcillo que sujeta por el cuello a un aguilucho.[1] La figura que corona la fuente data de los años ochenta. No se conoce con certeza cuando se instaló la fuente, aunque pudiera ser a partir de 1923, cuando el Hospital Noble se convirtió en hospital, dispensario y escuela de la Cruz Roja. En el empedrado artístico situado a la entrada del recinto aparece la fecha «1924. A. V.», siendo un empedrado parecido el que rodea la fuente.[2] |
