Summary edit

Description
English: Circa 1908-10 picture postcard of the Hotel Raleigh at 1408 4th Avenue, Seattle. Designed by Henderson Ryan and built in 1906 for John G. Price, representing an Alaskan businessman named Moore (no relation to Seattle's own James A. Moore). The building went through several redesigns during construction, first depicted as a 10-story Romanesque building with shallow bay windows; it bore no resemblance to what exists today and it is uncertain what was intended for the building's ultimate appearance. The building still stands today as an office building.
