Español: Este hotel de estilo Art Noveau, se empezó a construir en 1908 en la ciudad de Iquitos, en plena época del auge del caucho. Aqui se hospedaban caucheros y comerciantes europeos
Tiene tres pisos y un mirador que da hacia el Amazonas. La fachada está adornada con azulejos italianos decorados a mano, las puertas y ventanas terminan en arcos de medio punto y las barandas de hierro forjado, traídas desde Hamburgo, tienen detalles de hojas y flores. Fue el mejor hotel de Iquitos y una de las construcciones más bellas de la ciudad. Actualmente se encuentra en buen estado de conservación, y pertenece a una institución militar. El edificio se encuentra en el Malecón Tarapacá. |
