Description
English: House / WW2 radio station. On the 1988 edition OS map I use, this is marked as a radio mast. It dates back to WW2. Theenterprising owner built his house on the reinforced concrete structure so that he'd get stunning views across Scapa Flow and also be able to use the space in the bunker below for storage. The original security fencing posts are still in place (though not carrying wire these days).
