Description
English: The house at 121 Norwood Avenue between Summer and Bryant Streets, Buffalo, New York, February 2020. Though the house itself was built c. 1900 in a textbook Queen Anne style with a balustraded Doric portico out front, the property is most notable for the brick garage (seen to the rear at right), which is important to Buffalo radio history as the original broadcast studios for radio station WPDQ. The so-called "Norwood Garage" was used for that purpose for a few months in 1926.
