Summary edit

Description PC 461A stands alongside the House of Lords cloakroom attendant at Peers entrance. The helmet plate crown suggests that this photograph was taken in the reign of George VI from 1936 until 1948 when the open tunic, shirt and tie replaced the high collar tunic.
