English: A genealogical tree of the Banu Zaydan (Zayadina clan), many whose members served as multazims (tax farmers) in northern Palestine. Zahir, the son of Umar, was their most prominent member, governing over all of northern Palestine between the 1730s and 1775 under Ottoman rule. By the 1760s and 1770s, his rule also spanned adjacent regions, such as Jaffa, Jabal Amil and Sidon, the Golan, the Hauran and Jabal Ajlun.
