Description
日本語: アミ族馬蘭社（バランシャ）の家屋。臺東の近郊馬蘭社はアミ族有數の大蕃社である。數百人を容れる集會所の壯大，青年團の訓練等龍範部落の稱がある。蕃社に簡易水道を敷設して衛生設備を整へて居る所東京近郊の文化住宅に勝るものがある。行政區域にあつて租稅を納め，質补從順忠良なる帝國臣民である。家は切妻式で，音葺き，高山蕃の樣に屋内の土間を掘り下げる事をしない。竹簀の床を設けその上に起臥して居る。略正方形に近い屋内を切つて幾夫婦か住んで居る。（宮本延人）
