| Description |
English: Howard Lock at the end of the Cumberland Basin. Looking down from the Swing Bridge at the lock entrance to the Floating Harbour. This was not the original lock entrance to the Cumberland Basin but was designed by Thomas Howard and opened in July 1873. It is 62 feet wide and is now the only lock in use to the City Docks.
In the distance the suspension bridge can be seen. |
