Huanchar es uno de los pueblos mas hermosos del valle azul de nuestra sierra central, su comida, su gente, sus paisajes, su clima es lo máximo. visiten esta ciudad, está a solo 7 horas de la ciudad de lima, por la margen izquierda camino a huancayo, provincia de concepción-Junin. Su aniversario se celebra el 23 de junio, coincidente es el inicio de la fiesta patronal en homenaje a San Juan Bautista, que se desarrolla del 23 al 26 de junio.
