Français : Seuls les Lusignan, régnant sur Chypre et portant le titre de rois de Jérusalem, firent faire dans les ateliers mamluks des métaux à leurs armes. Trois sont connus (dont deux au Louvre). Le bassin reçut une inscription arabe exaltant Hugues IV (1324-59) et on ajouta à Chypre une inscription en français, les armes de Jérusalem et celles de son épouse ; ils furent en effet tous deux sacrés rois de Jérusalem à Famagouste en 1324.
